André Moraes is Project Manager, International Commercial Manager at Grupo José Pimenta Marques, Portugal and member of Quality and Organizational Excellence - Research Group. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, in 1973, he graduated in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering at the Federal Center for Technological Education of Rio de Janeiro in 1997 (6-year degree). He is pos-graduated in Organizational Management at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – 2013 – and he completed his Master of Business Administration – Project Management in IBMEC-RJ. André holds a Master (2021) in Industrial Engineering – Industrial Management from the University of Minho. He was supervised by Dinis Carvalho (University of Minho). He has more than 20 years of professional experience as a manager or team leader, working in several corporate areas in national and multinational companies. His research focuses on operational excellence, quality, Lean Manufacturing, leadership, and organizational culture.
