I am able to teach up to a grade 8 standard under various grading bodies (Rockschool, Trinity...etc), free-flowing lessons away from grades, or a combination. In all forms of study, technical and stylistic development will be the paramount focus and tends to feed other areas of study such as repertoire development, limb independence, practice pad exercises, and even history and context! The typical length of a lesson is 1 hour but there is flexibility for less or more depending on the situation. After playing drums for a few years at school, I started my journey as a professional musician at BIMM Brighton in 2016 when I graduated with a Diploma in Drumming. I went on to graduate from Waterbear Brighton with a BA Hons in Commercial Music in 2021 where I studied with Pete Riley. I now teach drums at a music school and have a fully enhanced DBS check. My lessons cater to all ages and levels.
