Mathematics tutor/professional; KS3-KS4, GCSE & IGCSE Examiner.
My name is Joanna Adamkiewicz and l have a Maths Degree from Szczecin University in Poland and trained to become a teacher at Middlesex University, London. I taught the National Curriculum of England & Wales KS 3, 4, and 5, as well as International GCSE. I am also working as a GCSE and IGCSE examiner for Edexcel. During my school experience I have used a range of teaching methods, including discussions, games, collaborative activities and individual focused tasks. In addition, I have made my own resources to help make the lessons interesting and relevant to the children. I have tried to motivate and enthuse the children in their work activities, which has created very positive outcomes for them and has encouraged them to celebrate their achievements. . I regularly define specific learning intentions for each lesson. These factors all contribute to the establishment of a rich and purposeful learning environment. Welcome to my Mathematical World.
