• 11+ exam tutor for Kendrick School and Reading School • Lessons tailored to your child • Weekly tests, constant progress monitoring and feedback • I am a friendly and enthusiastic tutor focusing purely on 11+ entrance exam. My first students were my own daughters who were successfully prepared for the exam and gained admission to the Kendrick Grammar School, Reading (2014). Since then, I have been passionately tutoring and developing my own teaching methods that work. • What is covered – Maths, English grammar, English comprehension, Verbal reasoning, Non-verbal reasoning and Creative writing based on the GL Assessment or CEM style exam. • Lessons are usually 1 hour long and take place once a week either virtually or face-to-face (at your home, additional charge for travel may apply). • My own short weekly tests which cover what was taught in the past few weeks and regular homework are part of the study routine. Such structure offers instant feedback to monitor students’ progress, strength and weaknesses. Any weakness is immediately addressed in the next lesson and continuously monitored. • A range of 11+ books from reputable and tested publishers are used along with plenty of my own study and practice worksheets and tests. • Since each child has got an individual talent, working very closely with the child and parents reaps the best results. • Having myself lived through the experience of a being a parent of children preparing for the exam, I understand all the intensity, the ups and downs of what each family is going through. I am happy to provide guidance and prepare for this practical aspect too.
