I am devoted to the idea of teacher-student partnership and I take pride in having achieved this goal in its practical application. Innovation is the cornerstone of my teaching methodology, I am open to and seeking new approaches. Having prepared different students for a great variety of exams, I have a lot of experience in how to lead them towards a successful outcome. Concerning the teacher`s attitude, I believe enthusiasm is more motivating than strictness.
International experience Fulbright Exchange Scholarship In the school year of 1993/94 I was awarded a Fulbright exchange teacher scholarship in the USA. I taught English as a second language at a high school in Washington D.C. in a multicultural environment. There were students of more than ten different nationalities enrolled at the school. Tutoring self-taught students in the IB DP I have also had the opportunity to become familiar with the practices of several other international schools as well as the methods of online education by being a tutor of self-taught Language A: Hungarian. For the past 14 years I have had students whom I tutored via skype from the United World College of South East Asia (Singapore), the United World College of Maastricht (The Netherlands), Institut Montana Zugerberg (Switzerland), Imatran Yhteislukio (Finland), Frankfurt International School, Bangkok International School and many others. Cloud Granny Besides the above mentioned I have also benefited professionally a lot from a completely different and unique educational experience: I was a Cloud Granny in the School in the Cloud project, founded by Sugata Mitra. As a volunteer I had skype sessions with children in Gocharan, India.
