I have a degree in English literature and Anthropology from the University of the Witswatersrand. I have a TEFL certificate from Global UK TEFL. I have a diploma in Human Resources Management from Allison Online Academy.

I am a bubbly and fun teacher. My lessons are full of fun and games as way to encourage engagement from my learners. My classes are often very relaxed and the student is encouraged to ask as many questions as they would like. I enjoy interacting with my students in a manner that helps them to feel calm and confident. I am a great listener and I will help my students to improve their vocabulary, grammar and speaking capabilities. I love singing songs with my juniors, drawing and using props to help them understand the lesson better. I love engaging in conversation about hobbies and interests with my older students and using that to help us relate and understand the lesson material. My lessons are filled with smiles, laughs and gentle correction when needed. I prefer to use the white board and writing when explaining to my learners so that that they can always refer back to that page should they want to save the lesson for the future. I do regular comprehension checks through questions to the learners all through the lesson and applaud, encourage and validate my students in each lesson.
