Completed all years of primary and secondary school in Ireland. I have completed an undergraduate degree in English and Theology in St. Patrick's college Maynooth. I'm currently completing my PME (Professional Masters of Education) in DCU (Dublin City University). I have worked as an EFL teacher in a primary school for 1 year. I'm also teaching classes as part of placement in a secondary school.

Hi guys, I have taught second level students English. I enjoy talking about books/ key texts, characters and the context. Understanding these aspects will help you to better understand the text. I have also taught English to foreign students. I have worked with students from many different countries. The students have worked really hard. We started off with basic vocabulary and moved on to reading. The students have progressed so much through a mixture of games and comprehension work, it is really fulfilling to see how much they have come along in the space of a year. When learning a language you need to be comfortable to make mistakes because this is how we learn. I try to ensure that students are comfortable enough in my class to be able to make mistakes. I like hearing the student's ideas and interests because this is the fuel for learning. I enjoy working with children and students and I enjoy travelling.
