Hello, know your tutor, Heer. I began my teaching journey 5 years back in September 2018. I completed my undergrad in Travel and Tourism Management from Odisha, India following which I graduated in Tourism Administration majoring in Events and Meetings Management from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. I have been teaching English, Hindi, and Gujarati, both academic and communicative, to students all across the globe. My students are aged between 4 years to 40 years. Hello!!! I have a strong passion for teaching, which inspires me to develop creative and distinctive teaching techniques, even in an online environment. During the challenging times of the pandemic, I recognized the struggles students faced in virtual classrooms, as many were reluctant to participate in online classes. As someone who loves technology, I implemented a variety of engaging learning activities that made students curious about the possibilities of online learning. My goal is to act more as an educational leader rather than just a traditional teacher in our collective learning experience. I began my teaching journey as an undergraduate, which has equipped me to effectively address and clarify students' questions. I oppose the idea of only providing textbook knowledge; therefore, my approach will focus on real-world examples and practical applications. I will strive to inspire students by involving them in engaging learning activities to boost their productivity. Continuous assessment-based teaching will facilitate identifying any underlying issues or challenges. Maintaining a sense of comfort and ease in communication is essential for building students' confidence.
