For three years I tutored numerous students between the ages of six and eighteen on both english and portuguese as part of an association focused on creating opportunities for children and youg people from challenging social-economical backgrounds. I was faced with different situations and helped students with various levels of english, having to, therefore, learn to adjust to their needs and their own learning style, an important skill considering not all students respond effectively to the more classical methods of teaching. Having said this, I have developed many dynamic and different solutions for when it comes to teaching a new language. I have an ofical certificate from the Cambridge University Press & Assessment declaring a CPE - Proficient Level (C2) and I have lived many years abroad speaking only in english. I have also taught portuguese in the past both to portuguese-speaking people and people who do not know the language so I am confortable tutoring it too, speacily since it is my mother tongue.

Hi :) My name is Rita and I´m from Portugal! I am currently taking some time in between my studies and I was looking to maintain active by using my skills and interests to help others. I am an enthusiast for languages, both learning new ones and sharing my knowledge with others, which is why I thought tutoring could be a perfect solution, speacily since I already have three years of experience to guide me. Communication is my pation and I believe both teaching and learning can be fun and rewarding activities. I teach both english and portuguese.
