My name is Sohini Dasgupta (she/her). I am currently doing my masters dissertation from University of Wrocław, Poland. I am doing an Erasmus Mundus Joint International Masters Degree in 'Children's Literature, Media and Culture' at the University of Glasgow and other European Consortium Universities. I graduated in German Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India. I also have B1 certification from TestDaf and Goethe Institute. I have been trained in German language at Institut für International Kommunikation in Berlin through a DAAD HSK scholarship. I have also attended German language courses in Goethe Institute upto B2.2 level. As a part of my educational curriculum in the Erasmus International Masters programme, I recently worked as an intern at International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY), Netherlands.

Hello. I am Sohini from India. I love learning and teaching languages. I speak nearly 7 languages. For me each day of teaching the language is each day of understanding the language better, this makes me passionate teacher and a curious language learner. I have taught German language to school students and beginners. I have German and English tutoring experience for 5 years. I have my undergraduate in German Studies. I also have B1 certification from TestDaf and Goethe Institute. I have been trained in German language at Institut für International Kommunikation in Berlin through a DAAD HSK scholarship. I have also attended German language courses in Goethe Institute upto B2.2 level. I adhere to a student centric curriculum and encourage my students to learn the language through innovative games and modern language learning techniques. In language learning, I focus on a balance of developing listening, writing, reading and speaking skills. This helps my students achieve confidence and fluency in the language they are learning.
