I hold a BA in English from University College London (UCL) and an MSc in Management from Imperial College London. My academic achievements include excelling in my GCE A-Levels, where I achieved A* in both English Language & Literature (as a private student) and Business Studies. Notably, I was awarded the Elsie Hitchcock Prize for the best performance in the Modern English Language module, distinguishing me as one of the few English undergraduates with a solid foundation in both literature and linguistics. I have experience in tutoring IGCSE World Literature, International A-Level English Literature and boarding school entrance exams, both in 1-1 and group settings.

My teaching philosophy revolves around structured lessons, beginning with a recap from the previous session, followed by a focused exploration of the text the student is currently studying. I consistently employ the same analytical framework when dissecting texts with students, fostering their familiarity with it. Furthermore, I always ensure that my tutees are continually challenged by various exam-style questions. This approach is designed to enable students to apply their knowledge in a flexible manner. I firmly believe that genuine enjoyment of a text arises from a deep understanding, and I consider adopting a consistent and reliable framework as the key to achieving this goal. Finally, I ensure that my lessons are as interactive and enjoyable as possible. My goal is to ensure that these lessons are by no means a burden to the tutees, creating an engaging and comfortable learning environment.
